Milan Fashion Week Street Style.

I was talking to one of my favorite street photographers and I was telling him how I was disappointed by the street style fashion I see during New York Fashion Week. Don't get me wrong, I am not the authority when it comes to fashion. I chose to be very casual in how I dress and most of all, I don't do it to get anyone's attention. Some of the people that show up at New York Fashion Week just come to put up a show or to get their photos taken. On the other hand, it seems to be quite different in Italy.

In New York people try too hard to be different but at the end, end-up looking more costumey than anything else. It is turning into a big joke while in Italy it stays classic.

I understand why in Europe you got to have credentials, real credentials before you show up looking like at a fool at a fashion show.

Fashion should be effortless without trying too hard. It should be natural at least and be something that you own. It is obvious that the ladies at Milan Fashion Week understand it.
